Refunds and Disputes

Draft pending review by licensed counsel. If anything here conflicts with a written agreement you signed with the business you are paying, that agreement controls.

1. Refunds for what you bought

Whether you can get a refund for the goods or services on an invoice is set by the business you paid and any agreement you have with it. Contact the business first. Approved card and ACH refunds go back to the card or bank account you used; Zelle refunds are sent as described in section 5.

2. No payment fees

TRGPay does not charge you a payment fee, so there is no fee to refund or withhold. A refund approved by the business returns the amount it approves, up to the full amount you paid. Card and ACH refunds are sent back to the card or bank account you used. Zelle cannot be reversed automatically: if you paid by Zelle, the business sends your refund as a new Zelle payment to the Zelle-enabled account you used, which may take longer to arrive.

3. Payment errors

If you were charged the wrong amount, charged twice, or a payment you made is not showing as paid, email payments@trgpaynow.com within 60 days with the pay code and what happened. We will investigate and reply within 10 business days, and correct confirmed errors promptly.

4. Card disputes and ACH returns

You may also dispute a card charge with your card issuer, or ask your bank about an ACH debit, under your rights in federal law. If you start a dispute, please also tell us so we can help resolve it faster.

5. Zelle

Zelle payments generally cannot be cancelled once sent. If you sent the wrong amount or forgot the memo, email payments@trgpaynow.com with the date, amount and the name on your bank account. Overpayments are refunded by a new Zelle payment; short payments leave the remaining balance due unless the business agrees otherwise. Never send Zelle to anyone other than the tag shown on a TRGPay pay page.
